Eliza is nine years old, and she absolutely loves school. Her favorite subject is English. She wants to be a teacher one day and is well on her way. Her parents are very old and cannot take care of her any more so she lives with her sister and comes to our school each day, where she eats breakfast and lunch and learns alongside her friends. Eliza has been enrolled in our feeding program since she was in preschool and we have raised support for her every six months, but now we are requesting a monthly sponsorship. This is Memory and she is 6 years old. Both of her parents died when she was a very young. She currently lives with her aunt and uncle who have 6 children of their own to care for. Her uncle is a carpenter and does his best to support the family, but unfortunately is only able to feed them once a day. While Memory always has a joyful spirit, she has frequent and unexplained fevers and headaches. Your sponsorship will truly impact her life and that of her entire family.
Esther is 8 years old. She is the youngest of five in her home, and she’s been in our feeding program since she was in preschool. Now we have the pleasure of including her in our sponsorship program, where she will not only receive plenty of food, but also have medical care, clothing and education for as long as she is sponsored. Esther is excited to continue attending HUGS Christian Academy with her friends, where she receives a quality education in English among people who love her. Nelson is nine years old. He lives with both parents, but they are not able to provide enough food for all four of their children and themselves. His father sells maize, and his mother stays home with the children, but she suffers from severe mental health issues and struggles to care for them properly.
